Just in time for the Holidays, the next Art Trek is December 1st, so take a FREE Art Trek Trip and discover what the 1st Saturday event has to offer. Several of the nine participating galleries are featuring affordable gifts of art created locally by our region’s many skilled and clever artists. With support from AmadorArts, the event is a time to have fun seeing what galleries are currently exhibiting. There might be an artist's reception, cookies and punch, wine and cheese, music, or simply staying open a little longer. Maps are available on each gallery.

Petroglyphe Gallery - Richard Mills - Featured artist for December. His fine craft of creating in copper is time-consuming and intensive with multiple steps but the end results, thanks to Mills’ artistic eye, are dazzling. Each vessel is unique. A recent work in metal tapestries was accepted for exhibition in the prestigious Crocker-Kingsley Competition.
